Trafalgar Park sits on the East bank of the Maitai River, opposite Rutherford Park. It is located within minutes of the Nelson CBD.  Trafalgar Park hosted three Rugby World Cup 2011 matches, and has hosted Super Rugby matches since 2008.

Home to the Tasman Makos who play in the in the Premiership of the Mitre 10 Cup, Trafalgar Park will have a capacity of 21,000 for the Test Match, the first in the region and will provide a unique All Blacks experience not seen for some time.
